🌹 Roses always symbolize Our Blessed Mother to me. She is forever the most beautiful flower in God’s Garden. 🌹

It may see like a simple painting of a rose, but in my little artist world, it has taken many twists and turns until I finally landed on the image I had in my head.

You can see the various stages that it went through—including the original reference photo in this Instagram post.

I eventually had to start over on a blank sheet, but it was worth it!

The rose I chose to paint is from the Carmelite Sisters’ beautiful rose garden -their little "Road to Emmaus"- in Alhambra, CA.

• Packaged on acid-free foamcore and delivered flat.

• Printed on thick, high-quality, smooth, matte white 100 lb card stock.  The title of the artwork is on the back of the card.

• Includes a plain white A7 envelope.
